A message from Brett:
My work with helping children started at the age of five. It was a value instilled into me by my grandmother helping with fundraising for her charity, H.E.D. Foundation. As I grew up my involvement went from simple tasks to managing the charities information technology systems. The idea of helping children was her life’s work and I feel that continuing to help children is my way of honoring her life.
As a father in a blended family I understand the struggles that parents go through during divorce, separation or a break up. While there is no single best approach to co-parenting, I believe that parenting education is one of the best steps people can take for their children. By furthering our knowledge we are better equipped to handle situations in a thoughtful and rational manner, instead of reacting by impulse.
I founded WNC Parenting Education LLC with the goal of bringing affordable parenting classes to the people of WNC. Helping the Child by Helping the Parent.
